Greetings fellow amateurs,
Yes, I know, you’ve missed me dearly and have been lost
without my guidance. I apologize and I will do my part to be the man you
deserve. My extended break was necessary to do some soul searching as I learned
the dreaded news that my girl Sydney Leroux is now Sydney Dwyer. Moment of
silence for me, please.
Okay back to the topic at hand. My Cubbies are currently
dealing with a freakishly hard throwing lefty Cuban as we try to crush Dug’s
hopes and dreams by winning the first two of the series (SPOILER: we didn’t do
it). The JOE MADDON era has been delightful thus far and we have avoided being
eliminated from playoff contention in the first two weeks. I guess you could
say life is good.
Baseball is easily my favorite professional sport and I’m excited
for the new era of Cubbies and that will be maxed out once my boy Kris Bryant
gets the call saying “it’s time”. The kid is the truth and I wholeheartedly
expect him to be a legitimate MVP candidate within the next three seasons. This
team is super young and super talented. The glory days are coming and you all
just need to saddle up and enjoy the show.
