The theory of Evolution has always been known as the main rival of Creationism, but it has come to my understandibg that there is a theory that implements both views. In this theory people argue that the method of human creation is in fact through evolution (albeit the work of God nonetheless) but just in the moment of evolution where humans evolved into the homosapiens we are today, God intervened and blessed them consciousness and purpose and curiosity of the unknown. Some say this is when humans first received souls while others say this moment is an act of the Holy Ghost awakening the soul of man. The first of these newly evolved and enlightened humans are believed to be Adam and Eve.
See! Through this theory both can coexist! I'm sure this will change nothing and the fight will continue, but it is at least a new perspective, right?
Ah whatever. Science is cool but God is cooler in my book.
However, I have to wonder.. If evolution does take place and God did in fact bless a specific group of evolved humans; what of the groups that were forced to evolve into homosapiens later? Did they just miss the boat? If we're to believe in both creationism AND evolution, does that mean that there's a chance that some people on earth today might come from the blessed evolutionary line and others are soulless products of adaption and natural selection?
Food for thought.
