Game 3: Red Sox - Some New, Some Old (And New Again)

Today was interesting for the Red Sox. Masterson gets his first start since returning to the Boston uniform and his opponent, Buchanan faces the Red Sox for the first time all together. Clever post title huh? Here's the cast.
The Sox starting lineup:
Betts
Pedroia
Ortiz
Napoli
Ramirez
Sandoval
Victorino
Hanigan
Bogaerts
Masterson

Let's back up. My grandfather had a minor complication with his surgery yesterday but made a quick recovery and made it back home. I went to visit him for a minute and during I realized that the Red Sox game was on. Welp, looks like I'm watching game 3 at home!

Family in tow, I show up in the first inning. Slow but interesting enough. The Phillies made the more impressive plays through the first 3 innings but by the end of the 3rd, my Sox had the 6-2 lead. They ended up keeping it too. Not the prettiest or most impressive win but a "W" is a "W". My guys managed to make plays off of some big errors Philadelphia and that's what sees you into October. That and Bogaerts hitting 3 of 4 at bats and our pitcher getting on the base twice!

Real question is now, when do we go home?
