Game 2: Red Sox - Porcello's First Dance

It was a cold evening at Citizens Bank Park for the second game of the season. Rick Porcello was just joining the team and eager to show Boston loyal that he was worth the bucks thrown at him.

It didn't pan out that way.. The Sox struggled to follow through we they had guys on base. Ramirez left six guys stranded alone. Maybe I'm just being too critical after an excellent first game but without Victorino or Big Papi, I'm going to get nervous from here on out. Don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining or even kinda nervous (for God's sake it's game 2!) but I remember starting off better than that in 2013. Ah the glory days..

I will say though that the push in the 8th inning did get my hopes up. Maybe too high considering I took the Red Sox to win on ESPN's Streak For The Cash.. Tough loss this early but it's April. Screw it.

Until tonight,
Taco, @jesseboldin
