Game 1: Red Sox

 Opening day was yesterday and unlike the NCAA men's National Championship, it couldn't have been better. The Red Sox took the Phillies 8-0 in the season opener with a whopping 5 home runs! I mean we only scored off of home runs! Two from Pedroia, one from Betts, and 2 from Hanley Ramirez (when I heard the Grand Slam I almost wrecked).

 Clay's pitching seemed strong yesterday too but after the game the Red Sox wrote up a mean contract for Rick Porcello so who knows great this season could get for us.

 All I know is we're sitting undefeated at 1-0 with our first season opening shut-out since 2002 and I couldn't be happier!
